Long overdue update...

Sorry for the absence...but work and saving vacation time has gotten in our way of traveling. Fear not, for we have a tentative plan for a 9 day trip this August...where to? Still deciding! Originally we thought Arizona and Southern Utah...but with the heat...no thanks! Now the idea is to drive up the coast to Puget Sound and back...start in Santa Barabara maybe or maybe take 1 all the way up from San Diego! Anyway...we hope to take an adventure soon!

We just got back from a trip to BEAUTIFUL CRATER LAKE!!! So blue! So pretty! So peaceful! The only downside was that Oregon has a breakout of forest fires within the vicinity of Crater Lake, so there was some haze, but we did get lucky with one almost clear day. As always...enjoy!

A message...

Quick info about me (Lai)...I am a geographer which is how I tend to view the world and the aspect of where my photographs come from. I am not great with people which is why you won't see much here...Yu is better with people but I tend to be the one who takes most of the photographs. This blog started as a way to show photos from trips we take and a place to showcase more of our serious photos.  Will this ever turn into anything more? I have no clue...I'd have to think of that seriously and probably have some more training in photography before it ever would go that far. I do like my career I am in currently, it's why I went to college and got a degree in Geography. So the driving force to own my own business is not really there. Would it be fun? Of course! Traveling and taking photos for a living would be awesome but...but...again, not a serious idea right now. So, for right now it is what it is and I thank you for partaking in this with us.

We took a camping trip to Yosemite for the weekend that unfortunately got cut short due to rain...rain that was forecast to be only .25 inches on the worst day. I think we got .25 inches in a matter of hours...so much for that forecast. This is what we were able to get...which was not much sadly.

Road Trip

Well, it has been a while but we do have commitments to our day jobs so I apologize for the time lapse. We recently took a trip out to the midwest and back so I hope to have some photos up from that trip in the near future. Until then, happy holidays and be safe!!!
